The Hotel Paris, originally
the venturi mansion, built in the 1500s and attributed to the well-known
architect buontalenti, is a living witness to the history and the
lives of many noble florentine families.
Within its sturdy walls, intact even
to this day, stand many precious and admirable works: from the loggiata
terrace with is splendid view of the entire historic center of Florence;
the great vault on the second floor, connected by a marvelous winding
staircase to the lobby on the ground floor; the hanging gardens
on the first floor; the many extraordinary rooms, each decorated
with beautiful stained-glass windows in which every niche contains
its own unique beauty; to finally the majestic Entrance Portico.
