Booking Guide and Conditions
1.
BOOKING YOUR HOTEL ROOMS
There
are many web sites allowing you to make online reservations. However,
we provide you an easy- to-use with high standard secure reservation system.
You can make your reservation by selecting "Reservation" button
on your selected hotel 's page. After you fill in the form and submit,
you will receive the auto acknowledgement e-mail confirming that your
order has been received and is now being processed.
NOTE : If you do not receive our auto response e-mail within an hour after
you submitted, it means that your e-mail address might be not correct
(Please recheck), or we might not receive your order (Please kindly e-mail
to: contact@florence-italy-hotels.net,
we will check for any system error.)
And, If the space is available, the booking can be confirmed within 20
minutes. If no more allotment is available, we will make the request to
the hotel. In this case, it might take 1 or 2 working days (depending
on the hotel's reservation clearing process) to get the confirmation.
NOTE : To avoid disappointment, especially over high season periods, very
early booking is strongly advised.
For confirmation, we will send you the booking details and a hotel check-in
voucher issued when your credit card has been charged via e-mail. This
voucher can then be presented upon check-in at the hotel.
2. METHOD OF PAYMENT
All bookings in our system are on prepayment basis. These wholesale
prepayment rates are normally much better deals than the rates of paying
directly to the hotel upon check-in or check-out.
For your
convenience, Florence Italy Hotels Network offers you credit card payment
directly from our standard SSL secure web site. However, you will not
be charged at the time of making reservation. But we will debit full amount
(according to your booking) to your card account 10 days or less prior
to your check-in date.
IMPORTANT
NOTE: If your credit card can not be charged, we reserve the right
to cancel your booking, and cancellation charges will apply.
We accept
payment by VISA, MasterCard card, JCB.
3.ROOM
RATES & CHILD RATE
All of our listed rates our per room per night and include government
taxes and service charges. For European hotels-quoted rates also include
breakfast. The rates are not valid during fair periods, exhibitions and
special events.
The child rate is for one child aged between 2 and 12 years (unless a
different range is specified) sharing a double/twin room with two adults.
If a price for a child rate shown as N/A, the triple price will apply.
Cots are only suitable for children under 2 years.
The rack rates/hotel published rates are for information only, and are
subject to changes without notice by the hotels.
4. WHAT
IF THE REQUESTED HOTEL IS NOT AVAILABLE
You will be notified via e-mail if your requested hotel is not available.
And our travel experts will try to find alternative hotels of comparable
standards and prices in the same area ( if available ) then provide you
this information for your considerations.
NOTE : Please
fill in two alternative hotels in the reservation form when making reservation
to let us know your preferences in case of your requested hotel is not
available.
5. MAKING
AMENDMENT TO YOUR BOOKING
If you wish to make any amendment to the booking after it has been
confirmed, this can be done by e-mail to: contact@florence-italy-hotels.net
ONLY, and subject to availability. (Please quote your booking reference
number)
6. CANCELLATION
BY YOU
If you decide to cancel your booking we must be notified of the decision
via
e-mail: contact@florence-italy-hotels.net
, please remember to quote booking reference number. The following scale
of charges will be payable depending on when the notification of cancellation
is received.
- More than
10 days prior to actual check-in date
.........Administrative charge of 20 USD or 20 EUR depending on the
published rate of your booking will be made to you.
- 10 days
or less prior to actual check-in date
.........1 night's room rate plus bank fee of 4.28% will be charged.
- If you
fail to cancel your reservation, and/or do not check in to a confirmed
hotel
.........1 night's accommodation charge or full period of stay
will be charged.
- Cancellations
after checked-in cannot be refunded.
7. CANCELLATION/CHANGES
TO YOUR BOOKING BY THE HOTEL
We hope and expect to be able to provide you with all the services
we have confirmed to you at time of booking. However, we use the services
of independent suppliers such as hotels, travel agencies, over whom we
have no direct control. It is the case, that on occasions changes do have
to be made, and the hotels reserve the right to make these.
And, in exceptional
and very rare cases it is possible that we may be advised by the hotel
that the reserved accommodation is not available (due to some reasons
eg. urgent/ unplanned repair work,..
) If this happens before your
departure or on arrival at the hotel, we will endeavour to provide accommodation
of at least the same standard in the same area. If only accommodation
of a lower standard is available, we will refund the difference of the
prices between the hotel booked and that available.
8. TRADE
FAIR RATES AND VALIDITY
Trade fair prices shown in our tariff after non trade fair period
will supersede the non trade fair prices.
Certain periods e.g. Christmas attract high prices in some cities, these
are not strictly trade fairs but it is possible that during these periods
our rates may be close to rack and should be treated in the same way as
trade fairs.
Trade
fair reservation :
For
some trade fairs, the prices may be above rack rates. Should any fair
dates change or new fairs apply we will notify you of such changes.
Accommodation
at some hotels must be sold for the full duration of the fair. We will
advise full details at the time of booking. When a reservation request
is made for a trade fair period, we will confirm the reservation of the
rooms with a reconfirmation date. If you reconfirm your request, you will
be totally committed for all night and no refunds will be given. Cancellations
cannot be accepted after we have received your reconfirmation.
9. CANCELLATION
FOR REASONS BEYOND OUR CONTROL
We will not be liable to pay any compensation if we are forced to
cancel or in any way change your booking as a result of situations outside
our control which neither we nor our suppliers could foresee or avoid,
even with all due care. For example war or threat of war, civil strife,
industrial disputes, natural disaster, terrorist activity.
10. IF YOU HAVE A COMPLAINT
Any complaint regarding the hotel must
be brought to the attention of the hotel management as early as possible
during your stay and, if not resolved to your satisfaction, should be
notified to our Customer Care Division within 28 days. Please give full
details of your complaint and remember to quote your booking reference
number.
However, we do not endorse or recommend any particular hotel. Reasonable
care has been taken that the content of this website is correct but it
is subject to amendment at any time without notice. All content on this
website is published in good faith but you acknowledge that we as booking
agent cannot check the accuracy of all information provided by hotels.
11. DISCLAIMER
Whilst we take reasonable care to ensure
that published descriptions are correct, we are only a booking agent and
does not own or operate hotels. We accept no liability for errors or omissions
in the description of hotels on the website.
We shall not be liable for any failure
or delay in performance of its obligations which results directly or indirectly
from any cause or circumstance which is beyond its reasonable control.
Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the following shall
be regarded as such circumstances: act of God, outbreak of hostilities,
riot, civil disturbance, acts of terrorism, revolution, the act of any
government or authority (including but not limited to refusal or revocation
of any licence or consent), fire, flood, lightning, explosion, fog or
bad weather, interruption or failure of a utility service (including but
not limited to electricity, gas, water or telecommunications), renovations
undertaken by the hotel, strikes, lockouts or boycotts, embargo, blockade.
12. OTHERS
- We reserve the right to change your hotel
booking to one of at least comparable standard and to notify you of such
change as soon as possible after it occurs. No compensation is payable
for such changes.
- We reserve the right to change these
terms from time to time.
